B & M Scientific cc (BMS) was founded in September 1989 by Mr A.M. Hargey (M.Sc) who had been studying, working and teaching in the science field. This need to provide scientific expertise and service, coupled with a commitment to service excellence is the core basis for the company's existence today. BMS specializes but is not limited to the microbiology and biochemistry fields and is steadily growing with branches in the main centers of South Africa such as Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria. BMS was born out of the dark shadow of South Africa's past, thus the industry was untouched and still reflected the inequalities which it was still shedding.
