About Us:
Doe & Ingalls’ origins begin with the founding of Doe & Ingalls, Inc. in Massachusetts in 1921. Doe & Ingalls, Inc. grew over the years, offering specialty chemical distribution to customers in the New England area. In the 80s, Tom Merrick and John Elmo saw a need for a similar customer-focused specialty chemicals distributor in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) region of North Carolina. In 1986, with the financial help of Burt and Larry Liebman, then owners of Doe & Ingalls, Inc., Doe & Ingalls of North Carolina was born.
