Selfdiagnostics is an Estonian-German certified research and development company of Estonian origin established in 2008, which is engaged in the development, production and sale of medical devices. The company’s product portfolio includes a variety of medical devices for professional and home use – diagnostic tests, inhalers and blood pressure monitors.

The company’s turnover in 2021 was 8,6 MEUR and EBITDA 2,5 MEUR. We are one of the largest sellers of HIV home tests in Germany, in Estonia we have a significant market share in rapid tests and inhalers. Our business customers are pharmacy chains, government agencies and medical institutions in Estonia, Germany and other countries. Selfdiagnostics focuses mainly on business customers, but we have also D2C sales channels, which are www.selfdiagnostics.com for international customers and www.tervisetestid.ee for Estonian customers.

Selfdiagnostics started developing its own products in the field of infectious diseases and the first product was developed for rapid detection of sexually transmitted diseases (STD). Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and the sharp change in market demand, Selfdiagnostics has refocused its operations and today we are focusing on the development of key RNA diagnostic products for SARS-CoV-2 and other respiratory viruses.
