SmartChip TE Target Enrichment System

SmartChip TE™ is a chip-based target enrichment system designed for targeted resequencing and specifically, clinical Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). Clinical sequencing applications of targeted sequencing panels will benefit from improved accuracy and precision using SmartChip TE™. This technology facilitates amplicon sequencing using singleplex PCR amplification for up to 2,500 targets on a single chip. Coverage uniformity and specificity are the highest in the industry. Integration into popular NGS workflows is seamless. Another hallmark of the system is flexibility in panel design and optimization.

Note that Wafergen has a full complement of assays available for enrichment of all exons in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes.
