This innovative silica free chromatographic technology allows continuousinjections which is benefited from the last patented invention in this field,called "True Moving Bed" (TMB). Two non-miscible liquid phases areused in CPC, one as the mobile phase or the eluent, and the other as thestationary phase maintained by a centrifugal field. The affinity of the solutefor each phase, measured by their partition coefficient, gives their order of elution.As there are no unwanted secondary interactions with silanols on the silica,this technique therefore preserves the integrity of fragile compound withoutdenaturation or loss by irreversible absorption. Moreover, the amount ofsolvent usage was only about 1/6~1/10 compared to conditional LC, reduced the laboratory waste liquid treatment and environmental pollution. In parallel, Armen Instrument set up an applicationlaboratory for customer services, consulting and training on purification.Equipped with a large range of instruments, this laboratory can help for scaleup and production, from bench to industrial scale.
