A reagent and diagnostic drug that utilizes antibody techniques including the monoclonal antibody technology cultivated from the time when Nichirei entered the field of biosciences. This reagent is used to color specific substances present in tissue samples taken from patients to diagnose illnesses and select therapies. It is used at hospitals and clinical centers with examination rooms as well as university laboratories.
The Simple Stain technology (patented internationally) developed at Nichirei Biosciences is used in part of the product. Products made with this technology are not only used in Japan, but increasingly worldwide.
●Culture Media

Culture Media

Nichirei has sold culture media and animal serum for growing animal cells since we first entered the field of bioscience. The main users are drugs manufacturers and research laboratories at universities. The biopharmaceutical boom arrived in the first half of the 1990s in the United States where there is active development and production of antibody drugs, which are the prospective winners for next-generation biopharmaceuticals.
At Nichirei, we perceive this as a business opportunity and we are working hard to sell culture media for industry use and animal sera.

We develop effective functional materials from unused parts of acerola and other natural materials held by the Nichirei Group's Food Division. We maximize the inherent abilities of the materials and develop them as ingredients for cosmetic products, and for health foods. In addition to sales to cosmetics manufacturers, we are also expanding the sales channels to include manufacturers of foods and health foods.
