NH DyeAGNOSTICS (NHD) was founded in 2007 and emerged in 2008 as a spin-off company from the Leibniz-Institute of Plant Biochemistry in Halle (IPB), Germany.
NHD successfully applies long-term firsthand experience in proteomics to create attractive products and services, providing customers with a unique combination of advantages in quality and price.
NHD founder and CEO Dr. Jan Heise was born in Flensburg (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany) and studied biology at the University of Halle (Saxony-Anhalt). Allocated by a DAAD fellowship he continued his research at the University of Berkeley, California. Dr. Heise earned his doctor degree – supported by a DFG scholarship – at the University of Halle and did post-doctoral research at the Leibniz-Institute of Plant Biochemistry and the Institute of Biochemistry, Halle.
