DIVERSA is a biotechnology spin-off from the Santiago de Compostela Health Research Institute (IDIS) and the Galician Health Service (SERGAS).

Working with pharma and biotech companies, we identified a common need for delivery solutions in drug development. Overcoming biological barriers is a crucial step to produce efficient pharmaceutical products. Our formulations make this happen.

We offer biocompatible lipid nanoemulsions (LNEs) for delivery of small drugs and complex macromolecules (peptides, proteins, and oligonucleotides), increasing their stability and boosting their therapeutic activity.

DIVERSA offers its technology in the form of ready-to-go kits for the entire research community: university and research center labs with translational research projects, Contract Research Organizations, Medicinal Chemistry units within biotech and pharma companies.

DIVTECH kits are ready-to-use formulations to obtain encapsulating nanosystems in a fast and convenient way. DIVTECH show:
• Stability in different cell culture media and sera, and in biological fluids
• Biocompatibility in different cell types and in vivo models such as mice, rats, and zebra fish
• Great association efficiencies with a wide variety of therapeutic compounds
• Fast cell uptake (within 60 minutes) and intracellular delivery of therapeutic molecules

DIVERSA also offers co-development contracts to biotech and pharma companies with the possibility of sublicensing our technology for specific indications.
