Who is the portal for?
Manufacturers use it to find distributors and other channel partners, and distributors use it to find new suppliers. Channel partners include distributors, agents, manufacturers’ reps, systems integrators, OEM partners and VARs.
What is in a dataset?
A dataset gives you full company profiles for the companies that match your search, which can include names of people, email addresses and LinkedIn profiles. You can contact those companies directly without using portal messaging. Datasets are available once your membership has been approved. We check that your company operates in an area within the scope of the portal. Datasets include Premium, Verified and Listed companies. Access lasts two years with live updates to the profiles, and anyone in your company can use it.
What can my team do with a dataset?
The qualification platform lets you add notes to each profile, share them with your team, attach documents, and download to PDF or Excel. You can move profiles into project folders such as Candidate, Reserve Candidate and Not Suitable, or create your own, so the most relevant companies are easy to pull out and the less likely matches are parked. As many colleagues as you like can join, and each can edit the company profile, use messaging, receive email alerts for messages, and access datasets ordered by anyone else in your company.
My company is already listed. How do I claim it?
You do not need to log in to check. Use Search by company name to see if your company is already in the portal. If it is, click “more info” on the result and you will find a link to claim the profile. Claiming is quicker than starting from scratch, and you avoid creating a duplicate. If your company is not listed, join to create your profile.
What is the difference between Listed Companies, Verified Members and Premium Members?
Listed Companies. Every company has a profile in the portal. A Listed Company appears with its company name and country only. To see its full profile and contact details, order a dataset.
Verified Members. Membership is free, and we approve only companies that operate within the scope of the BCP Partnering Portal. This makes introductions through the portal, or using the contact details in a dataset, much more likely to be relevant. You claim and describe your profile, appear higher in the results with limited company information, and can contact Premium Members.
Premium Members. You have a public profile with your logo and website link, found on Google, and the top ranking in search results. You can contact any member, are notified about relevant potential partners, and are promoted by BioChannel Partners on LinkedIn and in emails and newsletters.
See the comparison table above, including the discounts for each level.
How are company profiles ranked in the search results?
Premium Members appear at the top, then Verified Members, then Listed Companies.
Tip: in Partner Search, within each of these groups the company whose profile was updated most recently comes first. Keeping your profile up to date helps you stay near the top of your group.
In Keyword Search, results are also ranked by how closely they match your search criteria.
Results within a dataset are listed alphabetically.
Can I contact a company directly through the portal?
Public profiles never show direct contact details. Every Verified and Premium Member company profile has a message link. All registered members of that company are notified that a message has been sent, and receive a link to the sender’s company profile. Free Verified Members can contact Premium Members but not other free members. For more information and contact details for Listed Companies, order a dataset.
Can I start small and upgrade later?
Yes, you can upgrade at any time. If you begin with a dataset and upgrade to BCP Gold, what you paid for the dataset is deducted. If you begin with BCP Gold and move to BCP Platinum, what you paid for BCP Gold is deducted. BCP Gold starts your partner search and gives you a more targeted list to contact. BCP Platinum gives you a shortlist of partners qualified in more depth who have said they are interested in talking to you. Many companies use BCP Gold or Platinum for their most important countries and use the portal for the rest. Bespoke and Training customers receive one year of Premium Membership and 10% off datasets.

About our products, services and applications
Use this section to describe your products and services in a way that will attract potential partners to want to work with you. Address the customers who will benefit from the products.
Upload your company logo
If you decide to upgrade to Premium Membership, we will need your company logo to showcase your company profile.
Company contact details
We need these to verify your company before activating your company profile in the BCP Partnering Portal. Add:
- your company website URL
- your company email address, for example info@ or contact@
- your company LinkedIn page and other company social URLs
Email addresses are not shown on public profiles. The only company details shown publicly are the address and website URL of Premium Members.
Your details as the registered member
Add:
- your personal work email address
- your personal LinkedIn profile
- your direct phone or mobile number
Your name and email address are not shown on your public profile. Every profile has a Contact us link: messages sent through it go to the verified member, and the sender does not see their name or email address. Members who order a dataset that includes your company can see names and email addresses. Only approved members can order a dataset, and companies that order one are actively looking for partners.
Please use an email address that belongs to your company, not a generic one, because it is quicker for us to verify you as an employee of the company.
